Mesara Panty Liner Overview

The Mesara Liner is the smallest panty liner in the range – small, discrete, and super comfortable without sacrificing incredible performance.

Panty liners are ideal for every day of the month - keeping you feeling fresh throughout the day with a quick change of the pantyliner.  Great for daily use, light incontinence, light flow, or as a backup for a menstrual cup or tampon.

Mesara pads use the same high-quality fabrics found in Mother-ease nappies, so you can be sure they will work for you when you need them most! Mesara pads are backed with their exceptional PUL cover fabric, and lined with the special buttery soft Stay Dry fabric that Mother-ease are famous for. This along with the binding make for a leak-free, comfortable pad. As the fabrics are specially knit for Mother-ease alone, and were designed to absorb quickly and move wetness throughout, they create the utmost comfortable and effective pads on the market, exclusive to Mesara.

The wings are held in place using slim metal poppers so don't add extra bulk to your underwear. Having two poppers creates a wider wing which reduces movement and twisting of the pad.

Truly the best liner you’ll ever use!

If you suffer with light incontinence leaks from the occasional cough or sneeze these are perfect. If your incontinence is heavier than this, we would recommend you choose the Mesara Complete or Ultimate pads.

Pads FAQ's

How many pads do I need?

As a general guide for a:

  • short and light cycle 6 daytime and 3 night time
  • Average length and flow 10 day pads and 4-5 night pads
  • Longer and heavier cycles 15 day pads and 6-7 night time pads.

How To Wash Cloth Pads

Washing reusable cloth pads in the washing machine is the most effective way to care for your pads

Here is a basic guide to wash pads:

  1. When you remove your used pads rinse them thoroughly with cold water till the water runs clear. You can gently rub them to help remove as much blood as possible.
  2. Either pop them in your normal washing with other clothes or store them in a wet bag until wash day.
  3. Wash on a cold wash at either 30 or 40deg. You can use your normal detergent but avoid fabric softener.

Most companies will advise you to avoid harsh chemicals, fabric conditioner and tumble drying, as eventually it will lead to a shorter life span and issues with performance.

How To Dry Reusable Sanitary Pads

Ideally air dry your cloth sanitary pads and avoid using a tumble dryer. This helps to keep your reusable pads in better condition and is more environmentally friendly. A “sock” airer is ideal for drying them and can be hung inside in winter for quick drying. Most pads will easily dry overnight. Some pads can be tumble-dried, but this should be done on low and is best avoided as tumble drying can shrink some fabrics and remove fibres (that’s what the fluff is in the filter.)

How long will my pads last until I need to buy more to replace them?

As a general rule our suppliers expect their pads to last 5-10 years with average wear.

Conformable but moving about

I've been wearing the pads for the last year or so and was also pregnant during this time. The pads are comfortable and you won't know you are wearing them. The downside is that the back has a smooth material which makes it move about. During my pregnancy it was difficult to hold my knickers close to my body because of the belly size and the pad would fold and move backwards leaving no protection where I need it. I had to resume using disposable pads because they stand still when you stick them on your knickers. Now I'm using them again ( had the baby) they still move but the issue is not so big, or maybe I got used to them.
